Irregular shoes...MY FAVE!

I love a crazy shoe. It all started with my goth phase in middle school where I had two pair of platforms. High School was the 4 year flat period and then I returned at 19 to platforms and such. Now that you are caught up I want to talk about Irregular Choice. They have been making the craziest looking shoes for a long time. My favorite pair of irregular choice flats fell apart today. I had to retire them at my mothers house so there aren't any pictures. HOWEVER, I will be looking for a new pair so I am doing a post about them!

They are both comfortable and wacky. And I like it like that. The two pair posted above were the two I was the most enamored with. They are powerful for a high street brand. I haven't seen anything like them before or yet. The first pair is called Gaga. Simply put: I want them because they remind me of a haute couture lumber jack. Second we have What An Angel, I like to call them TANK because that is what they remind me of. Fully armored hoof similar to A. F. Vandevorst hoof shoes but at the street stomping level. I think I have decided on these because I need some more "fierce" shoes in my closet.

I managed to get in touch with Irregular Choice. I told them about my dear departed shoes and they sent me pictures of the stock in their store. They understood my shoe situation, i.e. my enormous feet and sent me photos of size 11 only. Aren't they great? My favorites are posted above. Purple is my favorite color although, I must admit, I do not always look good in it. These 50s inspired pinup shoes would provide a great balance to my serious wardrobe. The booties would be great for any day to just throw on. They also come in red but I favor this tanned leather color to work all year around. Lastly are these glammy heels in crazy irredescent purple and glitter. Nina, the lovely lady who sent me the photos, didn't know how I like my shoes and she managed to find some nice ones that I would be happy to put into my growing collection. All the high platforms and heels I own are in black. Too safe! I would love to get my hands on these crazy shoes. I would probably sleep in them and wear drapery white, black, or pink with them. This was fun! I would love to review more products soon.

Life is beautiful, let's share a little.

Just dropped in to say I was fortunate enough to get my own pair of the What An Angel wedge boots. Awesome! Had to have a British friend pay for them with his credit card, have them delivered to his parents, then fly home with them to the U. S. after Christmas. Anyway, I wore 'em today. All day. And I'm very happy with 'em. (Blogged about 'em with lots of photos, too, on Every Clog Has Its Day.)

What service! The first is too whacky for me - to wear, but not to look at. Sabine x

oh oh ohhhhh I own the red ones! I don't know if you ended up getting them, but I should tell you that they are to uncomfortable to wear.. So don't worry if you didn't get them! BTW the American brand manager is Laura and she's always in the the NYC store
