Boy oh Boy: It has been a while, I miss you!

photo taken from wallpaper.com

I want to sit down with each of you and have coffee and chat and tell you all the exciting (and not so exciting) things that have been going on. As you know I MOVED, and that has been a shakey transition. Pictures soon of my lovely roommates and the house. I am really pleased with the space and it makes me feel great to lounge on in the kitchen or my room. Gone are the days of overhearing band practices or drunken art school freshman. I also am working again, hooray! Thank you to all new readers, I have been receiving your emails and comments.

What else? What else? Sorry for being MIA and a little skitso with this message. The photo above is from one of my favorite collections in all of fashion month, ACNE! I just wanted to give a holler: I'm not dead yet. Although my cat loves to initiate "hangout time" at 3am every morning......

One of the best days of my life.

Undoubtedly there will be more great days when my college friends are around. We are all separating in some form this summer and after spending a good year in each others faces every school day I will miss them
(a lot). By the time we take our leave from one another I am barely breathing from all the laughing. These guys make life worth it because I can always bounce ideas and questions off them without feeling like an idiot. The one on the left is getting married this weekend. Congrats Dot!

My Studio

I have done some productive work but since I moved a lot from my father's apartment it has become a storage facility. (Sad Face)

Memories1

Burger Night @ Turps
Eating with Shannon and Jaynell is the best.
We joke around and shove burgers in our mouths.

Hume, Junkers, Ed Schrader, and Art Department at The Good Son

Lani and Sheena texting before the show

Sheena looking gorgeous

Ed Schrader banging and singing.

A happy Abigail.

The Captain, what can I say? He is my favorite person.

Hume, look at that face.

The girls.

The Good Son treats touring bands well. Evan, Sam, and Corey.

Ed loading out. He's a great guy.

Me lookin silly. I take a bad sober picture....

Dancing. Note: This was the first time I had seen skanking in 4 years.
What a great memory!

J.J is a good friend. He also does a good Robin Williams impression.
I am most pleased with his commitment to get a great photo.

Junkers, the drunks loved them. I loved them too.

Art Department is hands down one of my favorite Baltimore bands.

You can't touch em!

Finally, I retrieved all of the photos from my "nice" point and shoot. It took me way to long to figure it all out. I will spare you my stupidity and present you with some lost memories of the past 4 months. There is so much I will be sharing this month. So much content from this camera, so get pumped!

Last weekend was AWESOME

Rarely do I use caps, it was highly necessary.
I took a bunch of drunken pictures and edited the good ones.
Now I am back to a month and a half of school.
Yes I have started the tedious countdown to no more school.
It is an age old tradition.

In other news Daria is definitely being released in May on DVD.
It will be my big purchase before I leave for Cali.
I am oozing with excitement.

Tonight I am seeing a riveting documentary on Picasso at a local theater.
How do I know it is riveting?
It has been recommended to me by friends and bloggers a like.
That is why. I trust them to tell me what is hot or not.
A lengthy review might follow.

What up wit U?

My recent life in a series of photos.

Show at the captains house last weekend

Photobucket
The captain. This is probably one of the best pictures I have ever taken. It makes me want to replicate it over and over.

Photobucket
Again, my crazy family. My great aunt and her son, my cousin Tyrone.

My family and our family reunion lifted my spirits. Me and the Captain went out on the water.

Dining with Dad, so much fun seeing him eat a whole roll on a fork for a picture. He is such a dedicated model.

C-dog, the captain, and I hanging out a lot. I am sure Cory was sick of me. And that darn Pogues DVD...

What is up with these blog post titles? I feel like it is the late 90s and I am back wearing Baby Phat and donning hoop earrings. Those were the days...
I've had a lot of fun and turmoil this summer. I went through my closet today and edit a lot out of my wardrobe. I was inspired by the September fashion mag issues that are sprouting up all over the place. I will be selling a lot of the pieces that are not stained or torn on Ebay soon. I will keep you all posted. The rest will be put downstairs in a free pile by the dumpster or used for my etsy shop which I have decided to name Chapter 7 because everyone feels a little closer to bankruptcy these days.

Summer school and my fucked immune system leave me feeling groggy.
ps. this refinery29 headline(#6) gave me a great idea for a shirt. Eventually I will create...just hasn't happened. I need to be thoroughly inspired god damnit!
